Terms of Service - Piyo's Adventure

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the mobile game application "ぴよ氏の冒険" (Piyo's Adventure) ("the App") provided by NullPo Works ("we", "us", or "our"). By installing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Overview of Service

The App is a side-scrolling action game that includes the following features:

  • Gameplay (round-based stage-clear format)
  • Online ranking system
  • Shop feature (upgrades purchasable with in-game currency)
  • Advertising (rewarded ads)
  • In-app purchases

2. Terms of Use

  1. No account registration is required to use the App.
  2. When using the ranking feature, users may enter a nickname of up to 8 characters.
  3. An internet connection may be required for certain features (ranking system, ad display, etc.).
  4. Users under the age of 13 must obtain parental consent before using the App.

3. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are prohibited when using the App:

  1. Unauthorized data transmission, tampering, or manipulation of rankings
  2. Decompiling, reverse engineering, or extracting the source code of the App
  3. Using inappropriate, offensive, or morally objectionable nicknames
  4. Placing excessive load on the App's servers or network
  5. Interfering with the normal operation of the App
  6. Any other activities deemed inappropriate by us

4. Intellectual Property

  1. All content within the App (including images, music, programs, and text) is the property of NullPo Works or its respective rights holders.
  2. Users may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or publish any content from the App beyond the scope of personal use.

5. Advertising

  1. The App displays advertisements through Google AdMob.
  2. Advertisement content is provided by third-party advertisers, and we assume no responsibility for such content.
  3. For information about data collection related to advertising, please refer to our Privacy Policy and Google's Privacy Policy.
  4. We may offer an option to remove advertisements through in-app purchases.

6. In-App Purchases

  1. The App may offer the following types of in-app purchase products:
    • One-time purchase items (ad removal, starter pack, etc.)
    • Time-limited items (login bonus enhancement pass, etc.)
    • Consumable items (in-game currency packs, etc.)
  2. Payments are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store payment systems.
  3. Refunds after purchase completion are subject to the respective store's refund policy. We do not process refunds independently.
  4. One-time purchase items and time-limited items are valid only on the account (device) where they were purchased.
  5. Parental consent is required for purchases by minors.

7. Ranking System

  1. The ranking feature stores user-entered nicknames and scores on Firebase servers.
  2. While we implement filtering for inappropriate nicknames, we do not guarantee the prevention of all inappropriate content.
  3. We reserve the right to delete any ranking data deemed inappropriate without prior notice.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

  1. The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
  2. We shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of the App.
  3. The App may not function properly due to network conditions or device status; we assume no responsibility in such cases.
  4. The App does not guarantee the permanence of saved data. Local save data may be lost due to device changes or app reinstallation.

9. Changes to and Termination of Service

  1. We may modify, add to, or discontinue features of the App without prior notice.
  2. We may terminate the provision of the App if unavoidable circumstances arise.
  3. In the event of service termination, we will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice.

10. Changes to These Terms

  1. We may modify these Terms as necessary.
  2. Modified Terms shall take effect upon posting within the App or on our website.
  3. Continued use of the App after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

  1. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan.
  2. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in our place of business.
